BINGE EATING: MAKING DECISIONS MOVING FORWARD

This client is in recovery, and is energized to go back to grad school and to exercise. All of this is an important part of starting your life over, and moving on without keeping a "binge" in your back pocket...just in case. When you let go of a hiding mechanism, such as bingeing, the risks of life are felt as you're exposed to reality as it manifests. Having the grace to not be perfect, for life not to work out, and to make mistakes or experiences loss, allows you to not need to hide from the truth. ANOREXIA: HITTING BOTTOM AND SURRENDERING TO WEIGHT GAIN

This client is realizing she is still miserable in her fear of weight gain. Robin helps her see that if she wants freedom from her eating disorder behaviors that are the source of her suffering, it's inevitable she will have to accept weight gain. She will have to accept it with humility, grace, and courage so that she will never have the pressure to fix it later. This is the essence of what must happen to escape your eating disorder to enter recovery. RECORDED MARCH 2020 This content is discussed in the book Surrendering Your Survival: A Conscious Path to Eating Disorder Recovery (published in January 2021) #thinsupremacy #dietsupremacy #bodysupremacy #surrenderingyoursurvival #bodyimage #anorexia #bulimia #ana #ednos #bingeeating #edrecovery #eatingdisorderrecovery #weightloss #bodyacceptance #addiction #food #weightloss #emotionaleating #survivalmode #ed #weightlossapocalypse
