SHE LOST 50lbs ON THE HCG DIET BUT GAINED AN EATING DISORDER

After doing the hCG protocol multiple times successfully, she lost a large amount of body fat. Prior to that, she always felt bad about her weight and yearned to be thinner. The attention, pride, and positive reinforcement she felt after losing 50 pounds turned into a high she desperately tried to keep. The problem attaching emotional wants and needs to the results of Dr. Simeons' hCG protocol is that the person is highly likely to strictly diet once the protocol is over. This perpetuates the diet, binge, diet cycle and whatever was healed during the protocol will be damaged again. This client is feeling intense shame and anguish after regaining the weight, and believing she's a failure. She feels worthless because she couldn't keep the narcissistic high and supply she gained being "special" and "superior" being thinner.  RECORDED AUG 2017

BINGE EATING: WHAT DOES PRIDE HAVE TO DO WITH EMOTIONAL EATING?

She continues to justify eating as she feels sorry for herself and in resent and anger about her past. When eating is a way you learned to gratify the victim, or to pacify the child in your mind that's having a fit, to stop eating for that reason would mean you'd have to reconcile your perceptions IN HUMILITY. This requires you FIRST surrender diets that enable the victim mentality. EATING DISORDERS AND FEAR OF BEING CRITICIZED

She wants to know how to accept your body, when other's are going to judge you because of it. This is directly tied to Maslow's Third Hierarchy of Needs, to want to feel worthy of love and inclusion to survive with our tribe. We aren't wired to seek survival alone. When you hold yourself to high standards, to feel worthy of inclusion and love... you are the judge, and you are the one who believes you are worthy of judgment. The goal is to believe you are worthy of love and belonging even if others don't agree. It is your job to validate your life, NOT THEIR'S. BINGE EATING: EXISTING IN AN OBESE BODY FOREVER

It's very difficult to accept weight gain when a diet was used as a way to justify overeating. The only reason people fee safe to eat excessively is because they assume a future diet will eventually fix all of the damages. To permanently accept gained weight to break the cycle between dieting and bingeing and dieting and bingeing, when you ONLY ate thinking that weight gain would be short term, would require you take responsibility for the damages that have been done...no blame, no delusions of victim hood, no hiding from the consequences. BINGE EATING: IS YOUR WEIGHT REALLY WHAT'S UNHEALTHY?

When a belief about "health" puts you in a position to fear your own body, to fear food, and to be in constant triggered survival mode... isn't that belief what's unhealthy? Especially if it puts you in defense of eating and access to food when there isn't REAL famine? Consider the UNHEALTHY beliefs that position you to live in chronic fear. RECORDED AUGUST 2017

BINGE EATING: SURRENDERING YOUR WEIGHT TO GOD

She recognizes how the pressure to lose weight triggers binge eating. The feelings that food is going away increases the urge to eat or "feast" before dieting "famine." In order for her to recover from binge eating, she will need to surrender dieting and allow her body to heal itself. By never dieting again, she is forced to face how she eats to cope with emotional stress.
